On the evening of 6th December the management hosted a social evening for local people to come and enjoy their new hall and celebrate Christmas. The main event was the Grand Draw, when about 20 prizes were won (all gifts from supporters). The main prizes being a very full hamper of Christmas food, and a meal for two at the Castle Inn. There were three tables of lovely gifts offered to everyone, mostly made by people from the village. A glass of wine, mince pies and Christmas music and a lovely tree made for a delightful evening.
